What is Career systems?

Career Systems (CS) is a private company which specializes in assisting people through the process of federal employment.  We are not a government agency or an employment agency.  We do not provide or select people for government jobs, or administer exams, and we do not guarantee a job.  Instead, we are in the business of helping people like you:

• By giving you an initial consultation and reviewing your resume with you
• By helping you find suitable positions that match up with your education, skills, experience, interests and geographic location. 
• Help you complete the required applications and provide ongoing customer support through the process.

What does CS do for you?

While announcements, information, and applications for particular federal positions are available free to the public from various state and federal agencies, many people find it confusing, difficult, or inconvenient to locate and obtain all of the relevant information and materials.  The application process can be confusing and intimidating for many people. 

CS has proprietary materials and publications prepared by a prominent local educator of the past 35 years who received his Master of Arts degree in communication from Temple University in 1968 and has been involved in all levels of education from pre-school through college including, vocational schools and most recently test preparation and counseling.  The publications and materials we offer are designed to help you through the process of federal employment.  The books and course materials focus on the key elements of preparing the nescesarry items that relate to federal employment such as:

The many challenges of applying for federal positions has been well documented in the Washington Post on August 8, 2001; "Applying for a federal job often illuminates the worst aspects of the government's hiring system.  Many applicants lose their way in the bureaucratic maze.  Many give up hope during the seemingly endless wait for some response to their applications".
